Jackson Barrett & Gass are delighted to have achieved accreditation by the Law Society’s Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS).
Designed for practices that are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, WIQS provides a best practice quality mark for Wills and Probate advice that consumers can trust and helps them to distinguish between providers that are unregulated, uninsured and untrained.
The firm has undergone an application and assessment process to demonstrate adoption of best practice procedures:
1. Help consumers understand the issues in preparing a Will or seeking Probate advice and make them aware of the options, costs and timescales from the outset.
2. Enable consumers to make an informed choice of practice and not be pressured into buying more complex advice that is not in their best interests.
3. Keep clients informed throughout the process, using their preferred method of communication.
4. Deliver a quality service and advice through mandatory training in the WIQS standard for accredited Solicitors and staff.
Marketing Director, Rick Barrow, said “We are very pleased with our accreditation. We now have three Law Society accreditations which cover all our practice areas & demonstrate an ongoing commitment to best practice & client service.
As a firm, we feel make a conscious effort in maintaining excellent standards which benefits everyone. We know that people often use our services at stressful &/or emotional points in their lives, which is why we aim to provide a personal yet professional service.”
