Handforth-based law firm, JBGass, is delighted to have supported Wilmslow’s Animal Sanctuary for an eighth year through donations gathered as part of this year’s Wills Week. The firm has donated a generous £1,229.
JBGass has supported the sanctuary, run by the Humane Education Society in a number of ways including the Wills Week donations. The money is raised when clients having their will drawn up make a donation in lieu of the firm’s normal charge for making a will.
Speaking about the support, Marketing Director at JBGass, Rick Barrow said, “We are always delighted to pledge our support to the animal sanctuary who do such great work in our local community.
“And with Wills Weeks it’s a win, win as people are encouraged to get their affairs in order whilst supporting a fantastic cause.
“People can have a tendency to put off making a Will for a variety of reasons when actually it’s a straightforward exercise and people feel reassured once it’s done.”
Colin Barton, trustee of The Animal Sanctuary said, “We are grateful for JBGass’ continued support for the charity.
“Hundreds of animals arrive at our door each week and our work is only possible through public donations.
“On behalf of the whole team I’d like to extend our thanks to JBGass and, of course, to their clients.”
