The outstanding achievements of Jackson Barrett & Gass have been recognised by the judges of the most prestigious awards in the legal calendar.
Jackson Barrett & Gass has been short-listed for the Law Society's Excellence Awards in the category of the Lexcel Award for Excellence in Practice Management. Lexcel is the Law Society's practice management standard, and is referred to as the 'Quality Mark for Solicitors'. Jackson Barrett & Gass are part of less than 10% of law firms in England and Wales accredited to Lexcel, which shows the firm has met high standards in the way it is managed.
BBC Broadcaster Mishal Husain will present the awards at a prestigious black tie dinner and presentation ceremony which will take place on 18th October at Old Billingsgate, London.
The awards reward the most outstanding practitioners in the legal professions. They are designed to recognise best practice across the entire legal profession and to celebrate excellence and outstanding achievement in areas that are central to the profession today. They highlight innovative business and quality of life practices, successful approaches to practice management, contributions through social responsibility and equality and diversity initiatives.
Rick Barrow, Marketing Manager, says: "Lexcel is all about monitoring and tailoring the way we provide our legal services to our clients needs. This short listing demonstrates the firms achievement in doing so, which includes client feedback, financial performance, risk management, and other business innovation.
We are very proud to have our achievements and hard work consistently recognised by the Law Society"
John Wotton, Law Society President said: "The standard of entries for this year's Excellence Awards has been exceptionally high, and selecting the shortlist has been a challenge for the judges.
"The firms and individuals shortlisted should be very proud. Their excellence and innovation stood out among very impressive candidates.
"The Excellence Awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate what is great about the legal profession, which in recent years has experienced a turbulent economic climate and now faces the challenges created by the introduction of ABS."
